English as an International language became a challenge for all students in this modern era. The challenges of the education system in this modern era are to developing theories and apply new learning designs.1 In Indonesia, the dynamics of Islamic education are experiencing interesting developments.2 Hence, English for Islamic Economics is written to meet the needs of students in learning English for Specific Purposes. Students must be understood well about the definition, concepts, and also the vocabularies of Sharia Economy. Another study explained that English is a compulsory subject that must be taken by students who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in higher education.3 In addition improving students’ vocabulary mastery, it is also very important in mastering English.4
